Today at work a discussion arose about what books people were reading. When I mentioned I was reading "To Die in Chicago," and it wasn't a popular mystery novel, I received several confused looks.
To be honest only history buffs would be interested in this book or someone like me who has a personal interest. "To Die in Chicago" details life for Confederate prisoners at Camp Douglas from 1862 to 1865, and my ggg grandfather was one of them.
